How accurate is the breed identification?
Dog Sense uses AI to suggest likely breeds from the photo, including mixed breeds, with confidence scores for each component. The identification is educational and may be inaccurate — treat it as a fun, informed guess rather than a definitive answer.
Does it work on mixed breeds?
Yes. Dog Sense shows the likely breed mix with percentages and confidence, not just a single guess. You can see how much of each breed the AI detected and how confident it is in each estimate.
Can it identify my dog’s health or behavior issues?
NO. Dog Sense identifies breeds only. It is not a veterinary or behavioral diagnosis tool. For health or behavior concerns, consult a qualified veterinarian or professional trainer.
How do I get better scan results?
Photograph the dog in good lighting, at eye level, showing the full body or a clear side profile. Avoid motion blur, harsh shadows, and extreme angles — a sharp, well-lit photo gives the best identification.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Dog Sense (or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android). You can cancel or change your plan at any time.
Is my data private?
Your pack is stored locally on your device. Photos submitted for identification are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
