Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Mind Sense, a product of SenseApps (Hugo Bazan LLC) (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you complete the quiz or sign up on our website, we collect your email address, name, and session preferences to create your account and personalize your meditations. This data is stored in our database (powered by Supabase) and is used to sync your results when you sign in to the app.

Journal & Reflections

Any text you write in the journal or reflection feature is stored locally on your device by default and is not synced unless you explicitly enable sync. We do not read, sell, or share your journal entries.

Meditation Inputs

To generate personalized meditations, the App uses the name, goal, and fear or blocker text you provide during personalization. These inputs are sent to our AI service (Google Gemini) to generate your session scripts. Inputs are used to write the session and are not retained for model training.

Usage Data

We use PostHog (posthog.com) for product analytics. PostHog collects anonymous usage data including feature usage, session duration, and in-app navigation to help us improve the App. This data is not linked to your name or email.

Marketing Analytics

We use Meta Pixel (facebook.com/business/tools/meta-pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When you provide your email address on our website, a hashed (one-way encrypted) version may be shared with Meta for conversion attribution. This helps us understand which ads bring people to our product.

Subscription Management

We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to manage in-app subscriptions. Your email address is shared with RevenueCat as a user identifier to sync your subscription status across platforms. We do not store your credit card details.

Local Storage

Certain data (journal entries, reflections, preferences, progress) is stored locally on your device for offline access. In addition, your quiz session data, email, and name are stored server-side (Supabase) to enable account features across devices.

• To generate personalized meditation scripts using your name, goal, and fear text

• To create and maintain your account and sync preferences across devices
• To refresh your meditation content every 30 days
• To process and manage your subscription via RevenueCat
• To measure advertising effectiveness via Meta Pixel
• To improve the App through anonymous product analytics (PostHog)

3. AI Processing

Mind Sense uses Google Gemini AI to write meditation scripts from your inputs (name, goal, and fear text). A text-to-speech provider (ElevenLabs or equivalent) then synthesizes the audio. Scripts and audio are generated on demand and not retained beyond your session history unless you explicitly save them. Your inputs are not used to train AI models.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Data Retention

• Account & quiz data: Retained for the life of your account and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
• AI-generated scripts & audio: Generated on demand and not retained beyond your session history unless you explicitly save them.
• Journal & reflections: Stored locally on your device by default. Not synced unless you explicitly enable sync.
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized; retained per provider policy (PostHog).
• Financial records: Retained as required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location (including GDPR for EU/UK users and CCPA for California residents), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Request data portability (receive your data in a structured format) — GDPR
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — CCPA (we do not sell your data)

To delete your account and all associated data, visit sense-apps.co/delete-account or use the “Delete Account” option in the app settings. We respond to all data requests within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the date above.
